The Section for Geotechnics and Geology is engaged in conducting research within the fields of geotechnical engineering, rock mechanics and geology, and highway engineering.
The projects carried out by our research staff can be categorized into the three main research fields, which are further partitioned into sub-fields. Each field has its own page, containing an overview of our current activities:
- Constitutive Modelling in Reactive Transport
- Offshore Geotechnical Engineering
- Soil Mechanics
- Soil-Structure Interaction
- Enhanced Oil Recovery
- Rock Mechanics and Rock Physics
- Response Modeling
- Inverse Analysis of Properties
- Embedded Instrumentation
An overview of our published research may be found under Publications. Subscribe to our news updates at News, for learning about upcoming events, e.g., Ph.D. defenses and new appointments.
You can also follow our research at the DTU research database DTU Orbit, the university’s main research database.
